Description:
As a Leadership Development Consultant and Program Designer, I partnered with senior executives and human resources leaders to conceptualize, design, and deliver Capital One’s Conscious Leadership Program—a two-year learning initiative supporting over 200 senior leaders across the organization. I also worked with several senior leadership teams facilitating workshops to increase psychological safety, team effectiveness, and trust including a 4 month team coaching program for senior leaders.
The conscious leadership program had incredible results including, an increase in empathy by 75%, a 50% improvement in psychological safety, a 40% increase in retention, and a 40% increase in collective well being. Through experiential learning, executive coaching, and peer dialogue, leaders strengthened their capacity for authenticity, inclusion, and resilience—driving measurable improvements in engagement, promotion, and team effectiveness.
My role has included:
- Strategic Partnership: Partnered with executives and senior leaders to assess organizational learning priorities and design scalable, high-impact leadership strategies.
- End-to-End Program Lifecycle: Led the full design, development, and delivery process—from needs analysis through evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Instructional Design Collaboration: Worked closely with instructional designers to create engaging learning experiences applying adult-learning principles and leveraging tools such as Articulate 360, Canva, and PowerPoint.
- Consultation & Customization: Collaborated with business and operational leaders to identify skill gaps, define learning objectives, and translate business challenges into actionable leadership solutions.
- Measurement & Impact: Implemented data-driven evaluation methods to assess program effectiveness and inform ongoing iteration, tracking performance metrics and qualitative feedback.
- Project Management: Developed and managed detailed project plans to align with company-wide leadership priorities, ensuring communication and accountability across stakeholders.
- Team Coaching & Culture Building: Mentored facilitators and learning professionals to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and inclusion within the broader Learning & Development team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnered with HR, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure the program’s integration into broader organizational initiatives and strategic goals.
- Culture Champion: Advanced a learning culture that encouraged reflection, feedback, and conscious leadership behaviors at every level of the organization.
