Description:
As an organizational, well being, and leadership development strategist for Bank of the West, I partnered cross-functionally with Total Rewards, HR, Benefits, DEI, Safety, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and HR Business Partners to embed well-being and recognition practices throughout the employee lifecycle — from onboarding and performance reviews to career milestones.
I designed and scaled multiple enterprise-wide initiatives, including the 30 Day Mindful Living Challenge, a blended learning experience that combined in-person workshops, digital micro-learning, and community-based challenges to strengthen engagement, emotional intelligence, and resilience across the organization.
Over 3,000 team members participated in these programs between 2016 and 2019, building a shared culture of well-being, inclusion, and conscious performance.
I also designed and scaled a resilient leadership development program to 500 leaders between 2016-2019.
My role has included:
- Strategic Program Design: Developed and implemented comprehensive well-being initiatives that integrated mindfulness, recognition, and resilience practices into daily work culture.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborated with Total Rewards, HR, Benefits, DEI, Safety, L&D, Talent Management, and HRBPs to align wellness programs with enterprise priorities and values.
- Cultural Integration & Engagement: Facilitated organization-wide connection, inclusion, and recognition moments that strengthened belonging and psychological safety.
- Technology & Vendor Management: Oversaw implementation and global training for well-being platforms and recognition technologies.
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Collected and analyzed participation data, engagement metrics, and qualitative feedback to refine and expand initiatives.
- Global Training & Communication: Managed training on program adoption and best practices, ensuring consistent messaging and cultural integration across regions.
- Impact: Elevated employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction by embedding well-being and recognition into the employee experience at every stage of the talent journey.
