Description:

As faculty and co-facilitator of a daylong at Spirit Rock Meditation Center, I designed and taught immersive programs that integrated mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and conscious leadership for diverse audiences across industries and cultures.
I co-facilitated the “Discovering the Buddha Within” Daylong Retreat on Authenticity with James Baraz, co-founder of Spirit Rock and the Awakening Joy program. This retreat invited participants to explore their innate capacity for authenticity, compassion, and joy through guided meditation, somatic reflection, mindful inquiry, and interactive group dialogue.

Rooted in both Buddhist psychology and modern behavior-change science, the program supported individuals in aligning personal values with professional expression — fostering greater self-awareness, resilience, and presence in daily life and leadership.

In addition to live retreats, I supported hybrid and global learning experiences, translating contemplative principles into practical applications for conscious living and workplace well-being.

I studied intensively as a student at SRMC from 2007- Present day with annual silent retreat and mentorship with James Baraz and many of the other senior teachers.

My role has included:

  • Strategic Program Design: Developed and facilitated transformational mindfulness and authenticity-based programs integrating neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and conscious leadership practices.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborated with senior teachers and faculty (including James Baraz) to co-create experiential retreats that aligned contemplative teachings with modern leadership and well-being needs.
  • Cultural Integration & Engagement: Fostered community belonging and inclusion through guided meditation, reflective dialogue, and authentic communication practices that deepened connection among participants.
  • Technology & Hybrid Delivery: Designed and delivered hybrid (in-person + virtual) experiences to expand accessibility and engagement for a global audience.
