Description:
As a Senior Faculty member and Program Designer I created and facilitated a series of eight 8–10 week courses and customized workshops for students, staff, and faculty across the university and with multiple departments. Programs were designed in partnership with Wellness Education, the Center for Integrative Medicine, and Stanford’s Health Improvement Program (HIP)—a worksite health promotion initiative supporting faculty and staff well-being.
Each course integrated evidence-based practices from behavioral science, mindfulness, positive psychology, neuroscience, and leadership studies to help participants cultivate sustainable habits and self-awareness in work and life. Topics included forgiveness, mindful nourishment, behavior change, conscious leadership, team effectiveness, food as medicine, Inspiring trust and teamwork, and happiness.
These programs blended academic rigor with experiential learning—combining lecture, reflective practice, small-group discussion, and mindfulness-based exercises to promote whole-person health. Participants consistently reported improvements in emotional intelligence, stress resilience, and overall well-being, & leadership skills, demonstrating the value of integrative education in higher-education and workplace settings.
My role has included:
- Design and facilitation of 8–10 week courses and targeted workshops for diverse university audiences
- Partnership with Stanford Wellness Education, Center for Integrative Medicine, and HIP program leaders
- Curriculum development in forgiveness, leadership, behavior change, mindful nourishment, and resilience
- Integration of evidence-based frameworks from psychology, mindfulness, and functional nutrition to enhance individual and team flourishing
