Imagine a typical conflict happening at work, there is something you want to say, but you feel scared to say it. What is the worst thing that could happen? You are not liked or respected for speaking up? Or in fact you are? What if you started to speak up in a way that aligned with your inner truth and your co-workers could hear? Yes!
You will learn what your authentic yes and no is and how to set and hold compassionate boundaries. Listening and communicating with greater confidence can be the difference between a job promotion or a layoff, a divorce or a happy marriage. You will look at what effective and authentic communication looks like at work and how our attitudes and emotions impact one another. We’ll bring our skills of emotional intelligence and compassion into action so that we can pause first and listen to what is being said — and what is not being said — and see how influential that can be. You will identify what courageous conversation you want to start at work and have an opportunity to role play it so you can impact your organization or your life in a way that feels true to you.
